In 2018, Esterházy Castle in Eisenstadt becomes the focal point of interest for music enthusiasts: the Haydn Festival is one of the most important musical festivals in Europe.

Since the Haydn Festival was first launched in 1986, it has focused on the complete works of Joseph Haydn who worked as a musician for the Esterházy estate in Eisenstadt for more than 40 years.
