Pannonian healing chalk
Das Schmidt Private Hotel is the only hotel where you can experience treatments with Pannonian healing chalk. This special chalk comes from the nearby Leitha Mountains on the border between Burgenland and Lower Austria. Since 2009 we have had knowledge of the healing chalk's effects and use them for our treatments. This very fine material, which officially belongs to the lime stones, is slightly anti-inflammatory and purging as well as refining the skin. Why not test it yourself?
Organic cosmetics with grape seed
Another specialty of the region and our Das Schmidt Private Hotel are the treatments with grape seeds. When ground to powder the seeds unfold the agent oligomeric proanthocyanidins (short: OPC), which tones, strengthens and soothes the skin and enhances the cell protection.
